Uniform

Before you go out and buy uniform items for your child, please note that we have a range of good quality second-hand items available for 50p each.

You do not need to purchase the PE kit displaying the school logo as a pair of plain blue shorts and a plain white t-shirt is perfectly fine.

The only two uniform items we ask that our pupils have which display the school logo are the Book Bag and either the school sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece.

FOUNDATION STAGE 2 (Reception) and KEY STAGE 1 (Years 1 & 2) WINTER UNIFORM:

Boys - Grey trousers; white shirt or polo shirt or school navy blue polo shirt; grey socks; school navy blue sweatshirt or fleece.

Girls - Grey skirt, pinafore or trousers; white blouse or polo shirt or school navy blue polo shirt; grey or white socks or grey tights. Leggings are not permitted.

FOUNDATION STAGE 2 (Reception) and KEY STAGE 1 (Years 1 & 2) SUMMER UNIFORM:

Boys - Grey trousers or shorts; white shirt or polo shirt or school navy blue polo shirt; grey socks; school navy blue sweatshirt or fleece.

Girls - Yellow and white checked dress; white socks or tights. Full length leggings are not permitted but white fitted shorts which do not come below mid-thigh length are acceptable.

On hot and sunny days, all the girls and boys should wear a sun hat and plastic sunglasses may be worn outside.

PE KITS

Pupils in Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) need a pair of navy blue jogging bottoms or leggings and a plain white t-shirt or a white t-shirt with the school logo on it as well as plimsolls or trainers.

Pupils in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) need plain navy blue shorts, a plain white t-shirt or a white t-shirt with the school logo on it and plimsolls or trainers. In the Winter, they also need a pair of navy blue jogging bottoms or leggings and a school sweatshirt.

FOOTWEAR FOR FOUNDATION STAGE 2 AND KEY STAGE 1

Our school uniform includes black shoes (not sports trainers) for both Winter and Summer. Girls or boys may wear black, white or tan coloured sandals in the Summer but these must be closed in at the toes. In the winter, if you want your child to wear boots on the walk to school, they should have a pair of black shoes to change in to when they arrive.

ACCESSORIES

Each pupil also needs to have one of our school Book Bags which can be purchased through the school office by placing your order on SCOpay and a water bottle with a pull-up lid which can be purchased from most supermarkets.

ALSO...

For health & safety reasons, long hair should always be tied back and NO jewellery should be worn by pupils at any time. Pupils with pierced ears may, however, wear very small studs but on PE days they should be removed before coming to school. If they have not been removed, they will be covered with medical tape.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING YOUR CHILD BRINGS TO SCHOOL MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED, INCLUDING THEIR LUNCH BOX AND WATER BOTTLE.
