SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
8:00-4:00pm, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 40 weeks per year (Term time 38 wks + 5 inset days + 1 week in the summer holidays)
Start date: Monday 23rd March for handover
£28,383 to £30,253 per annum Full Time Equivalent
£21,773 to £23,207 per annum actual, dependent on experience
Closing date: Friday 6th March

We are looking for a friendly, organised and fully committed School Administration Officer to play an invaluable and key role within our school community.
The successful candidate will:
- Be the first point of contact to welcome pupils, parents and visitors
- Lead the daily administration of the school office
- Support communication, data, organisational systems and safeguarding
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership team and School Bursar to ensure the smooth running of the school
- Manage the organisation of cover for staff absence
We are looking for someone who:
- Ideally has experience of working in a school office setting
- Has experience of MIS software such as Arbor or similar
- Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook
- Wants to be part of a school where children are nurtured
- Enjoys working in an organised, pro-active and friendly environment
- Is highly organised, calm and professional
- Is able to multi-task
- Understands and respects confidentiality
- Supports the Christian ethos and values of the school

CLERK TO THE SCHOOL GOVERNING BOARD
Permanent, term-time only (38 wks)
This is a permanent position working 76 hours per annum (approximately 8 hrs per month/2 hrs per week which includes training). Additional hours can be claimed.
Start date: Tuesday 17th March for handover
£30,743 to £33,349 per annum Full Time Equivalent
£1,411 to £1,531 per annum actual, depending on experience

A welcoming and inclusive Church of England School in west Maidenhead, underpinned by its Christian ethos and vision, Boyne Hill Infant & Nursery school invites applications for the post of Clerk to the Governing Board.
The Clerk will be accountable to the Governing Board, providing professional clerking services to the Board and Finance Committee. You will be required to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills as well as good organisational skills.
Full Governing Board meetings are held 7 times per academic year for approximately 2 hours (19:00-21:00) with 3 Finance Committee Meetings per year for 2 hours (09:45-11:45). These are face to face meetings. Hours of work outside the meetings may be worked flexibly at home in order to undertake agenda preparation and production of minutes.
Key requirements:
- Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Be able to take accurate minutes and produce well-presented minutes for distribution.
- Collate and distribute agendas and associated paperwork in advance of meetings.
- Provide procedural and legal advice and guidance after full training.
- Attend relevant training events and briefings organised by the Local Authority.
- Candidates should be competent in the use of MSWord, email and internet.
- A flexible approach, tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
