Our Eco Council is lead by Reception teacher Mrs Julia Norris. Two children from each Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 class are selected in a democratic vote at the beginning of each school year.

The Eco Council members are involved in all things related to the environment and take an active role in writing each year's Action Plan.

Last year we focused on recycling and reducing the amount of school food waste that goes into landfill. We are composting as much as we can but would like to have a food recycling bin at school.

We have also sponsored a Snow Leopard with the World Wildlife Fund and held a 'healthy' cake sale to raise funds for this project.

These tasty herbs, in our new herb garden, will be used by our school Cook. We have also grown some lettuces from seed.
